2. Which personal data we process
When you fill in the contact form on this website, we process the data you provide to us yourself:
If you use our upload portal or the appointment wizard, we additionally process the documents you provide yourself, such as payslips, annual income statements, income tax returns, an employer's statement, a UWV insurance report or a pension overview, and the details of your appointment (the chosen time and type of meeting).

3. Purposes and legal basis
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- answering your request and getting in touch with you (legal basis: your consent and/or taking pre-contractual steps at your request);
- providing our services when you engage us (legal basis: performance of the contract);
- improving our services (legal basis: legitimate interest);
- assessing your request and calculating your borrowing capacity based on the documents you provide; we use these documents solely for this purpose (legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request).
4. Retention periods
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We keep requests submitted via the contact form for no more than 2 years after the contact has been concluded, unless a longer statutory retention obligation applies (for example the 7-year tax retention obligation for administrative records).
Documents you provide through the upload portal or the appointment wizard are deleted once your process is completed, and no later than 2 years after the last contact. If you would like us to delete them sooner, that is always possible; just contact us.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We only share your data with third parties when this is necessary for our services or to comply with a legal obligation.
We use processors, such as our email/SMTP provider and our hosting party. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties. Data is only passed on to partners (such as a notary or mortgage advisor) when this is necessary to carry out the service and there is a valid legal basis.
If you apply for a mortgage through us, we share your documents only with the parties required for that, such as the lender or the notary, only to the extent necessary for your application and always with your knowledge.
6. Cookies
This website does not place any analytics cookies or tracking cookies. We use only one functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language choice.
No consent is required for this functional cookie, which is why there is no cookie banner. The cookie contains no personal data and is not shared with third parties.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. Traffic to and from this website runs over a secure connection (HTTPS).
Document uploads take place via a personal, secure link that expires automatically. Uploaded documents are stored in a protected location, are accessible only to Własny Dom staff, and every access is logged.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- the right to access the data we process about you;
- the right to rectification of incorrect data;
- the right to erasure of your data;
- the right to restriction of processing;
- the right to object to the processing;
- the right to portability of your data (data portability).
9. Filing a complaint
If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please send an email to info@wlasnydom.nl. You also always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. The most current version is always on this page; the date at the top indicates when the statement was last updated.
